I am not too surprised to see that, but I do not know how prevalent the use of tractors is among the Amish communities. I suppose the Old Order will be slower to change. I can respect their way of life because they choose to live as their families did in the “old country”.

Still waiting for your new book. 🙂

Very interesting! Maybe this man is one that comes to FL in the winter and has gotten used to the modern ways when the bishop isn’t around!

I, too, am anxiously waiting for the next book!

I can see tractors being compatible in the Amish culture just as the Old Order Mennonites in the Shenandoah Valley use tractors. I do see tractors occasionally transporting families but they continue to use horse/buggy for most transportation needs. The buggy shop is still busy!
