Not only would one get to work at less expense than in automobiles, but the ride would be good exercise. I’m just not too sure how I’d like riding in the rain, snow, sleet, and cold weather.

I used to ride all over town in my younger days. Not sure if I could rise as far now.

I’d be awfully tired riding my bike to and from work, because I have to travel to a bunch of counties! But the price of gas wouldn’t be much of a concern if I rode my Schwinn!

I live in Northern VA (DC area) road rage is a problem and parking is a nightmare so I’m looking at this with longing. But wondering if I’d have to put chains on those wheels in the snow and ice.

Well, let’s see here. I’m 74 year old great-grandma with bad knees and no sense of balance plus I get Asthma attacks if I road in humid weather. But, I so admire all the wonderful ways the Amish keep from having all the expenses we “English” have. I believe they labor much harder in every day life.
